Japanese Culture & Aikido - Where do we draw the line?


Aikido is a traditional Japanese martial art, focused on cultivating peaceful human beings through rigorous training. Many of us are drawn to the appeal and lifestyle of traditional Japanese culture (many times more so than most native Japanese). So where do we draw the line between adopting aspects of this culture while simultaneously remaining true to our love of America and our own cultures?
